What's in the box?
1 x Peperomia scandens ‘Variegata’ 125mm + 1 x 250 mm Self-watering pot.
Peperomia scandens ‘variegata’ is also known as the Cupid Peperomia and is the variegated version of Peperomia scandens ‘Green’. He's a total vining, plant native to Mexico and South America and can reach 60-90 cms in height.
He is hardy and super easy to care for. His thick, glossy, heart-shaped light green leaves outlined in creamy white are an instant eye-catcher. Pop him in partial light indoors, but partial shade if grown outdoors on your balcony.
Water me when the soil feels dry to the touch. Or grab yourself a Sustee watering device to know when to water and when not to.
The Peperomia are known to effectively hold water in their fleshy stems and leaves during times of drought, so they can hold their own if you forget to water or go on vacation.
About the pot - A lightweight planter that helps to take care of your plants - for home, office or anywhere. Clean, modern, and colourific plant pots. This size is perfect for bookshelves, mantles and desktops. The pioneering Australian design in self-watering planters.
Quick Facts
What to use me for:
Indoor - Use me for adding pizzazz to your home. Pop me in the bathroom, on the kitchen benchtop, up high on a shelf unit or hang me in the corner of your room.
Outdoor - Use me under the shade of trees as a groundcover or pop me in a partly shaded area to cascade over a retaining wall.
I am currently: Vining in a 125mm hanging basket
Where to place me: When growing a Peperomia, locate the plant in a medium to low light situation away from direct sun. You may also grow Peperomia plants under fluorescent lighting.
Soil Conditions: A free draining potting mix is best . If your peperomia plants are wilting, in spite of regular watering, the plant is likely not getting enough oxygen to the roots.
Follow the email guides after purchase on how to care for your indoor plants.

Succulents don’t like a lot of water and long periods of drought won’t hurt yours one bit, they’re the best type of plant for forgetful folk, or those that are away from home a fair bit, so don’t feel bad if you haven’t given him a drink yet. One of the most common mistakes people make is watering them too much! The best potting mix for succulents is a well draining one. Using a good potting mix of porous soil for succulents is super important to prevent overwatering. Water your succulent when the soil is dry. Soak it thoroughly rather than giving it regular sips and always empty excess water from the saucer as it will rot the roots. If you’re struggling try one of our self-watering pots they make a plant killer look like a pro! In winter succulents need even less water. You can touch the soil each week and if it’s even a bit damp then leave it alone and try again the following week. Succulents need little moisture and although it seems cruel, a sure-fire way to kill your beauty is by watering it frequently. This will turn it to mush.
If in doubt, leave it without.
