Kalanchoe pumila ‘Quicksilver'

Description

Kalanchoe Pumila ‘Quicksilver' is also known as the Silver Leaf. She's delightful succulent plant with powdery silver-grey fleshy leaves that trail down the sides of a container.

The pretty leaves are a feature you won’t want to miss, but when the lilac coloured urn-shaped flowers appear in late winter and spring it’s a beautiful plant to just sit back and admire.

Kalanchoe pumila Quicksilver adds a cascading splash of colour and texture to your patio pots or hanging baskets, but she also brightens a sunny rockery or garden beds. She’s a real team player that complements every style of garden from rockeries to tropical.

Grow this easy-care beauty in full sun with well-drained soil and trim back the flowers when they’ve finished. That’s it, no extra work involved.

Quick Facts:

  • What to use me for: I look my very best trailing from a hanging basket and softening the sides of a pot or wall. I also rock the rockery and creep along the garden border.

  • Where to place me: I like sun and partial shade.

  • How far to space me:  Give me 30cms of elbow room.

  • Soil Conditions: I need fertile and well-drained soils.
