Agave parryi truncata


Agave parryi truncata is also known as the Artichoke agave. It is the classic looking agave which forms tight grey / light blue spirals with reddish tips. 

Quick Facts: 

  • What to use me for: Perfect for the succulent garden, rock gardens or Mediterranean gardens  

  • I am currently: 3-5cm high 

  • I grow to: 30-60cm tall, 60-90cm wide 
  • Where to place me: Full sun to part shade 

  • Watering conditions: I'm not a big drinker. Let my soil dry out between waterings and in winter cut the watering back to once a month 
  • Soil Conditions: I like a free draining cactus soil mix 

  • Things you should know about me: I can deal with drought and dry soil but beware I have shade spikes so don't plant me near paths.
