Allamanda violacea, commonly known as "Purple Trumpet Vine" is a decorative small growing climber producing violet-coloured, trumpet-shaped flowers over a long period, peaking in Summer. Having erect stems it can be pruned to grow as a garden shrub or let grow naturally, rambling over fences and walls.
