(Previously known as Baeckea virgata Dwarf)

Babingtonia virgata Dwarf is an attractive small-growing compact Australian native shrub, commonly known as "Heath Myrtle". It produces masses of slightly honey-scented, small, white flowers from Spring through to Summer. The new leaf growth is bronze in colour turning a fresh mid green as the foliage matures. It's tight tidy growth habit makes it ideal for use as a small formal hedge, an informal hedge/border, in rockeries and mass plantings. Due to the abundant display of flowers, it is also suitable as a feature plant in containers.
