Backhousia myrtifolia is commonly known as "Grey Myrtle", it is an evergreen native rainforest tree with an erect and graceful habit. The leaves are cinnamon-scented, dark green with a smooth upper surface and a velvety undersurface. Cream-coloured flowers appear from Spring to Summer. It is ideal for planting as a beautiful shade or feature tree, as an informal hedge/screen or a worthy inclusion in a native wildlife garden.
