Buxus microphylla 'Faulkner' is also known as Dwarf Japanese Box. This variety of Buxus is a very popular shrub with rich green, glossy, and small oval-shaped leaves. The dense growth habit is why this species is used predominantly for hedging, garden borders and for topiary. Buxus tolerates most well-drained soil types. They especially thrive with regular watering and feeding. The best results are achieved when grown in full sun but will also tolerate partial shade.
