Camellia japonica 'Black Tie' is a medium evergreen shrub with a dense, rounded growth habit. Medium sized dark red, formal double flowers are borne in early Winter to mid Spring. This variety has been in cultivation for around 300 years. The Japonica is the most recognisable of the Camellia varieties. It has a strong growth habit, large glossy dark green leaves.
