Camellia vernalis 'Star Above Star' produces an abundance of beautiful white flowers with subtle shades of lavender-rose-pink on the edge and underside of the petals. The flowers appear in Autumn through to Winter. They are classed as a semi-double bloom, the petals form a star which sit upon another star of petals. The leaves are small bright green and glossy. It is a vigorous, upright, bushy, evergreen shrub, closely related to C. sasanqua. Growing approximately 3m tall, it is ideal for screening, hedging and in larger containers.
