Dipladenia mandevilla 'Red Riding Hood'

Description

Dipladenia, Mandevilla, sanderi 'Red Riding Hood' is a climbing plant with a difference. When grown in full sun, the growth habit is more compact and bushy, like a small shrub, whereas in part-shade, it tends to climb. This is an evergreen, perennial plant with bright green leaves. The spectacularly prolific, large, pink-red flowers adorn this plant throughout the entire year. The flowers open as red, then fade to deep pink, creating a variety of shades at any one time.

Dipladenia sanderi 'Red Riding Hood'  is a proven performer in the garden, provided it is planted in soil that has been enriched with organic matter. Try mass planting this plant for a knock-out effect! Also, it is a picture perfect plant for outdoor tub specimens or hanging baskets.
