Like the look of everyone else's space on your Instagram feed? Want to breathe nicer air because new research suggests that on average your indoor climate is 5 to 10 times more polluted than the outdoor climate? "No way"
"When we think of the term 'air pollution,' we tend to think of car exhausts or factory fumes expelling grey smoke," said study co-author Prashant Kumar of the University of Surrey. "However, there are actually various sources of pollution that have a negative effect on air quality, many of which are found inside our homes and offices. From cooking residue to paints, varnishes and fungal spores, the air we breathe indoors is often more polluted than that outside.

Oh, please tell me a bit more about the planters?
A lightweight planter that helps to take care of your plants - for home, office or anywhere. Clean, modern, and colourific plant pots. This size is perfect for bookshelves, mantles and desktops. The pioneering Australian design in self-watering planters.
With regular, good-quality potting mix, plants can thrive by taking just the amount of water they need from the waterwell®. The ventilated floor helps aerate their root systems. When used outdoors, rainwater can collect in the waterwell® for later use. Depending on the size and type of plant and environmental conditions, some species can thrive for up to four weeks between watering. Others may require more frequent attention for best results.

Succulents don’t like a lot of water and long periods of drought won’t hurt yours one bit, they’re the best type of plant for forgetful folk, or those that are away from home a fair bit, so don’t feel bad if you haven’t given him a drink yet. One of the most common mistakes people make is watering them too much! The best potting mix for succulents is a well draining one. Using a good potting mix of porous soil for succulents is super important to prevent overwatering. Water your succulent when the soil is dry. Soak it thoroughly rather than giving it regular sips and always empty excess water from the saucer as it will rot the roots. If you’re struggling try one of our self-watering pots they make a plant killer look like a pro! In winter succulents need even less water. You can touch the soil each week and if it’s even a bit damp then leave it alone and try again the following week. Succulents need little moisture and although it seems cruel, a sure-fire way to kill your beauty is by watering it frequently. This will turn it to mush.
If in doubt, leave it without.
