Description

Sweet Lauretta is a Peace Lily that’ll add a bit of height to your space. Her big, dark green leaves are a nice touch of lush to your room. She’s mid-sized and fast-growing producing elegant white flowers with a pretty green tip that lasts for several months.

She loves moderate to bright, indirect light but will adapt to lower light levels. Mist her foliage regularly to increase the humidity because she likes a bit of moisture on her leaves.

If you’re still struggling, read our guide to looking after houseplants. It’s easy, we promise.

  • Quick Facts
  • What to use me for: I love every room in the house, I’m so much prettier and healthier than an ornament. Outside I like warm, shaded areas away from frost and harsh sunlight.

I grow to: I’ll reach 90-100cm if you move me into a larger planter as I grow.

Where to place me: I like a warm position but handle low light positions well.

How far to space me: Ooo, around 50cms or so. I don’t mind some company.

Soil Conditions: This is important stuff - I like it consistently damp but need free- draining potting mix. Allow the top of the soil to dry out slightly before watering. I’ll start to droop when I need more water. Please don’t leave me sitting in a dish of cold water or my roots will rot.

Please take care when choosing your plants. Some plants are poisonous and individuals may be more sensitive or react differently.

  • Size
  • I am standing tall at 25cm in a 100mm nursery pot

  • Growing
  • Spaths are probably the easiest houseplant to care for because they can go for stretches without water and they enjoy low light levels meaning you can put one on your office desk, bedside table, or the dull bookcase. While Spathiphyllum will tolerate very low light, without some brightness from a window or a lamp, they are unlikely to bloom much, if at all. They can tolerate anything except direct, and bloom more the lighter the light they receive.

Avoid allowing the plant to wilt (although Spathiphyllum will recover amazingly from wilting very badly, you’re likely to see a lot of yellow leaves as a consequence if it happens too often.) Spathiphyllum will thrive when proper watering is followed.

Once in a while, put her in the shower and water the leaves to wash off any accumulated dust.

Not a heavy feeder- liquid fertilise monthly when the plant is growing or blooming during the growing season only.

  • Delivery
  • Our plants are beautifully grown and have well-developed roots. They are hardened, can be planted directly into the planters and are excellent performing Indoor plants - it’s our plant promise guarantee!

We carefully package your plants into a customised box to ensure safe transport, healthy plants and fast, free delivery to your door
