Anthurium Mixed Pack 85mm

Are you Anthurium obsessed but can't choose which colour? This pack of Flamingo Flowers includes three different Anthurium varieties (so you don't have to). These indoor houseplants do well in low light, and are low maintenance to boot!

Description

Hailing from the tropics Anthuriums are cruisy little guys that aren't high maintenance.

This box includes 3 x  Anthuriums grown in 85mm grow pots, made up of mixed varieties (colours).

Just to get technical Anthuriums are part of the Araceae family which includes plants like the Pothos and Monstera. To be part of this family, they have to have a spadix which is surrounded by a spathe. In simple terms, the coloured flowers we call flowers on this plant are technically not flowers at all, but they are the spathe.  They like high humidity, can handle lower light areas, don't need much water and have long-lasting waxy flowers. These traits make it a perfect plant for the office desk or someone just starting on their plant journey.

  • Growing
  • So you can grow these babes well...

When growing outdoors, place me in a spot with partial shade. I Look super planted in mass. If you love having me Indoors I will require a bright location with indirect light and protection from drafts. Feed me with a nice liquid feed during the growing season only.

During the growing season, water weekly to keep the soil moist, not soggy and allow the soil to slightly dry between waterings.

    • Too little indoor light may cause the blooms to slow or stop altogether.
    • Create humidity, mist the foliage several times weekly. The Anthurium does particularly well in bathrooms, as they like high humidity.
    • If the leaves have a yellow glow, this means probably too much direct sunlight, move the plant to a place where the sun shines less directly.
    • Green flowers indicate too little sunlight and you should, therefore, place the plant closer to a window or place it more in the sunlight.
  • Delivery
  • Our plants are beautifully grown and have well-developed roots. They are hardened, can be planted directly into the planters and are excellent performing Indoor plants - it’s our plant promise guarantee!

We carefully package your plants into a customised box to ensure safe transport, healthy plants and fast, free delivery to your door
