Description

What's in this cute box then?

1 x Indoor Houseplant
1 x Self-watering pot (choose from 6 colours) Aussie made.
1 x Coconut coir fibre mat - keeps the pests away and looks fancy on top of your soil
Soil - just enough to DIY pot up your plant into its new self-watering pot.
Gift Note - If you are sending as a gift we attach cute little gift notes. Please leave your notes at the cart and we will pop that in for you.

She often gets mislabeled Philodendron cordatum - the cordatum grows along the ground and gets much larger but the hederaceuum grows upwards and has more of a vining nature. It is the old school Philodendron that is one of the best plants for indoors because it is super easy to look after and everyone wants one so you should too!

If you want a plant that dangles with heart-shaped leaves, will look good on your Instagram stories or just need a mate that will chill in the office with you, look no further than 'Philo' hederaceum.

  • Quick Facts
  • What to use me for: It is a cascading / climbing plant so is great for hanging baskets indoors

    I grow to: 3-6m high, 1m wide

Where to place me: Like bright indirect light, can also handle lower light levels but may not grow as well. I cope well in Winter compared to the pothos varieties.

Please take care when choosing your plants. Some plants are poisonous and individuals may be more sensitive or react differently

  • Size
  • I am currently

    20-30cm in a 125mm tube

    I grow to

    up to 3-6m high , 1m wide

  • Growing
  • How to water me
Water every 1-2 weeks, a good rule of thumb is to let the soil dry out.  Increase frequency with increased light.

    Soil PH
I will do my best with a soil PH level between 5.5-6.5, you can read more about the importance of PH levels here

    Tips and tricks
Feed philodendron houseplants with a balanced liquid foliage houseplant fertilizer that contains macro-nutrients. Water the plant with the fertiliser monthly in spring and summer only. Slow growth and small leaf size is the plant’s way of telling you that it isn’t getting enough fertiliser. Pale new leaves usually indicate that the plant isn’t getting enough calcium and magnesium, which are essential micro-nutrients for philodendrons.or the best results give me a feed twice in Spring using an all-round fertiliser. If you notice my leaves starting to turn yellow, please water me less, especially in winter.

  • Delivery
  • Once your new plant babes are dispatched you will receive tracking information so you can keep an eye on its journey. Once in transit, packages usually take 2-10 business days to arrive. If you need it delivered ASAP we recommend upgrading to express post to get it there faster.
