I use these at the base of moss poles. I can tell at a glance if they need water and then ensure the whole pole has sufficient water.
I am totally in love with the sustee sticks. My husband used to call my indoor plant section the palliative care unit - I have not lost 1 plant since I've started using the sticks. Yay :)

Love my Sustee Moisture Meters. I have them inserted in my indoor and some outdoor pots. I cannot over water now like I did before and a few plants died. It makes so easy to check the colour every couple of days to see if I need to water . Just moved from Victoria to S. E. Queensland the daily temp and humidity makes such a difference now compared to living in Victoria.

My favourite indoor plant is a maidenhair fern.
Cannot count the number of plants that I have bought, overwatered and put into my plant causality department.
Put a Sustee moisture meter in my newest green fern baby.
Must admit, I was sceptical, however after watching, waiting, watching and more waiting the meter turned white. By now I would have normally flooded the plant, but it is now getting the ‘just right’ moisture.
So pleased and will be buying more stustees.

I have used it for all my indoor plants however my peace lilies - iI have two are not responding - and they are the ones I'm trying to understand!!! Hopefully with a bit more time we can work together Sustee and I to get it right!
